SUMMARY:Monster Romance Book Club
DESCRIPTION:Join us. \nMonster romance—romance featuring nonhuman love interests—is having a massive moment. These aren’t your typical brooding vampires—we’re talking about characters who challenge everything we think we know about relationships\, gender\, and what it means to be human. \nIn A Soul to Keep by Opal Reyne\, monster Orpheus demands a human sacrifice every decade in exchange for protecting Reia’s village. When Reia is chosen as the offering\, she expects to meet a terrifying\, inhuman being. And she does. But she also discovers that Orpheus is terribly lonely and just wants companionship. Reia soon grows unexpectedly captivated by Orpheus\, even while yearning for freedom. This unlikely love story offers radical lessons about consent\, vulnerability\, and what it means to love\nacross difference. \nThe event is free. Registration is Required.  \n
