PBC Book Fairs

An in-school book fair involves us setting up shop in your school’s library or multi-purpose room for multiple days. We bring in a curated, award-winning selection of books from a wide variety of publishers and work with you to showcase books on topics of interest for your community.

During a school book fair, we have a staff member on site when the fair is open for shopping (recess, lunchtime, after school) and ask for the school to provide volunteers for set up, take down, and support when the fair is open. At the end of the fair, we donate a percentage of sales back to the school in either cash or store credit (your choice).

We can also do smaller, pop up-style events on campus, such as science fairs and international nights.

There is always light. If only we're brave enough to see it. If only we're brave enough to be it. -Amanda Gorman, First National Youth Poet Laureate

An in-store book fair includes a family shopping night (typically a weekday 6-8 pm), but expands the potential sales window to an entire week and allows families to shop our entire store. Families can visit on their own time (including weekends)–and the school receives a percentage of sales attributed to the school’s families in either cash or store credit (your choice).

We can also set up an online book fair at the same time so grandparents and other out-of-town boosters can contribute. Best of all, in-store and online book fairs require no volunteers or school space!
