Imagine going back in time, 152 million years, to the late Jurassic Period. Meet Andy Cruz, aka dinosaurcomics, a Sacramento-based cartoonist that makes comics about prehistory (Especially DINOSAURS!) and his deep fascination with the natural world for a book signing.
Born and raised in the California Bay Area, Andy enjoys long walks on beaches and drinking milk tea. When he’s not drawing, he’s probably reading comics, watching anime, or throwing Tiger Uppercuts in Muay Thai.
Join author Victoria Fong for a Spooky Storytime on Sunday, October 26th. She will read her book, “The Legend of Sutro Tower” then we will have a costume contest and there will be treats for all. See you there.

Meet Theodore and Jamie on August 30th at Peninsula Books. “Theodore’s Big Day”, is a heartwarming story about a Mini Australian Shepherd dog with a dream to find his furever family. This story is about hope, love, and the joy of finding where you truly belong.
Teddy Bear Clinics are opportunities for children to become familiar and explore medical equipment while they play along real medical professionals. This event aims to help prepare kids for doctors visits or other medical experiences. Children will be provided with the tools to be a doctor, or a nurse, and perform a check-up on a stuffed animal. Join us for a family fun interactive event.
