About the Author

Jessica Brenner is a writer, counselor, and mother of three who grew up on the San Francisco peninsula. Her latest book, a middle grade fantasy entitled Pixie Dust and Other Dangerous Things, was published by Journey Institute Press on August 30. For the last fifteen years she has worked to help Bay Area high school students find their voices through writing: an experience she credits with strengthening her own storytelling. She has been recognized by Children’s Book International, the Storytrade Awards, LCGBA, and the Independent Author Awards.
