Location: In-person at Peninsula Books (441 Westlake Center, Daly City) and in-person at community events.

Non-exempt: 4- 10 hours/month, $20/hour (additional hours can be picked up.) Hours are not guaranteed monthly, and do depend on store needs and events.

The Organization:  Peninsula Book Collaborative is a nonprofit organization with a mission to build and grow the next generation of book lovers. We do this by providing a space to find books, learn together, and build community. 

Position Description: Peninsula Books is looking for a passionate and enthusiastic individual to join our team. We are currently hiring for a part-time position.  The individual must work in the store for a four-to six-hour shift each month and at events, with advance notice.

This is an opportunity to be involved with the bookstore and in the community for on-site program delivery, tabling, outreach, distribution of materials, and event support for the nonprofit. 

Our ideal candidate is someone who can offer friendly and effective customer service, loves to read and discuss books, and enjoys working as part of a team.
